Capturing the beauty of Norway
SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary
On a recent road trip to Norway, I had the chance to explore some of the most breathtaking landscapes and embark on daily hikes through stunning terrain. As an adventure photographer, having gear that’s both lightweight and compact is crucial, which is why SIGMA lenses were the perfect choice for this journey.

I shoot with an APS-C camera, and for this trip, I brought along the SIGMA 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary and 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary lenses. Thanks to their incredible sharpness and portability, these lenses allowed me to capture everything from sweeping landscapes to intimate portraits with ease.

The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary quickly became my go-to lens throughout the trip. Its versatility, paired with its compact size, meant that it stayed on my camera most of the time. Whether I was capturing the vastness of Norway's fjords or the intricate details of its rugged terrain, the 18-50mm delivered sharp, vibrant images every time.

Even with long hikes and challenging climbs, carrying the 10-18mm and 18-50mm lenses in my bag was never a burden - they’re small and light enough to take anywhere. When I reached the summit of Galdhøpiggen, the highest peak in Norway and the Nordic countries, I relied solely on the 18-50mm lens, knowing it would perform brilliantly under any conditions.
