MEET LOTTA
Lotta believes that photos make us remember certain memories and let us reminisce those wonderful moments in life. Time is the most valuable thing we have and it goes past incredibly fast. With photos you can always go back to those moments that are already gone and relive them. With photos, you can see all the beauty in your life that is sometimes so hard to see in busy, ordinary days in life.
Lotta loves photographing people in different situations, full of emotions, such as weddings and family sessions. She loves authentic moments and always sees little magic between people and loves to capture all that beauty, love and connection in relationships!
That’s probably the reason why she has been noticed in many photography competitions and her calender is fully booked for long ahead.
Wanting to share her love for photography, she gives workshops for photographers, called Loisto Creative (Creative Glory in English).
Photographing both private consumers and businesses, her studio is situated in Hatanpää in Tammerfors, Finland.

LOTTA'S TOP 3 SIGMA LENSES
I've been using SIGMA lenses for years in various situations, and I've found different lenses to be good for different kind of situations.
I shoot with Sony camera bodies, and SIGMA lenses have been a fantastic match for them. I always choose my lenses based on the subject, the shooting conditions, and the style I want to achieve.
For a long time, I used only prime lenses for wedding photography, with two camera bodies, each equipped with a lens of a different focal length. Last year, I tried the SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8| Art zoom lens and fell in love with it. It's a very versatile lens if F2.8 aperture and brigthness is sufficient for the situation. Nowadays, I shoot most of the wedding day with a 24-70mm lens on one camera body and an 85mm lens on the other. If I need more brightness, I often have a SIGMA 24mm F1.4 | Art lens on one body and a SIGMA 50mm F1.4 | Art lens on the other. Alternatively, depending on the space, the combination of a SIGMA 35mm F1.4 | Art lens and an 85mm lens also works well. In studio conditions, I mostly use the SIGMA 50mm F1.4 |Art lens and shoot mostly with natural light.
When planning lens purchases, it is worth considering the intended use first and what features you value most. The most important aspects are certainly focal length and brightness, but other notable features include the lens's physical size, focusing speed, and other technical characteristics.
In my opinion, SIGMA lenses offer excellent quality for the price, and based on my experience, I warmly recommend the lenses I use.

SIGMA 50mm F1.4 DG DN | Art
- I use this lens 90% of the time outside of wedding photography. As a lens, it is bright, fast, and the result is both sharp and precise, but suitably soft for my style.

SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II | Art
- This is my go-to choice for wedding gigs and especially effective for portrait and ceremony photography. I also like to use this lens when photographing couples or families outdoors.

SIGMA 35mm F1.4 DG DN | Art
- This is my other favorite among Sigma's prime lenses and is also very versatile. The brightness is good, and 35mm is my favorite focal length for documentary photography.
